1.Overview
The single-effect concentrator is an external circulation concentrator operated under a vacuum system. As a universal concentrating device, it can evaporate aqueous solutions, and can also be used for evaporation of solutions to recover organic solvents and evaporation of wastewater. This equipment can be operated under vacuum or under normal pressure, and is particularly suitable for evaporation and concentration of water or organic solvent solutions in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, light industry and other industries.
2.Application
The single-effect concentrator is particularly suitable for low-temperature continuous concentration of heat-sensitive substances (such as water, alcohol extracts, antibiotic fermentation, milk, juice, etc. produced by traditional Chinese medicine) under vacuum conditions to ensure product quality.
3.Structural features
Material: To prevent the material from being contaminated, all parts in contact with the material are made of high-quality stainless steel plates.
Vapor-liquid separation: In order to improve the vapor-liquid separation effect, the equipment adopts the method of vapor-liquid tangent entering the concentrator, and uses centrifugal force and sedimentation in the tank to achieve a satisfactory separation effect.
Cleaning and maintenance: A manhole is set on the evaporation tank for easy cleaning. Sight lights and sight glasses are set on the top of the heater and the evaporation tank for easy observation during operation.
4.Main technical parameters
Equipment model: 100L/h~10000L/h
Tank pressure: -0.1~0MPa
Steam pressure: 0~0.3MPa
Cooling water pressure: 0.1~0.3MPa
5.Equipment installation
Check product specifications and delivery list.
Check and tighten bolts that may loosen during transportation to ensure no leakage.
If necessary, ground the equipment reliably.
The equipment should be cleaned with water to ensure cleanliness.
6.Equipment operation
(I) Inspection before operation
Clean the equipment for use.
Check whether the water supply, cooling water, steam, power supply, vacuum, etc. are normal.
Check whether the connection pipe mouth and manhole are sealed and the valve opens normally.
Check whether the accessories such as thermometer, pressure gauge, liquid level gauge, etc. are calibrated and qualified.
(II) Operation before trial operation
Evacuate and open the cooling water valve.
When the vacuum reaches -0.08-0.09Mpa, open the feed valve and adjust the continuous feed mode to control the flow.
Control the steam pressure between 0.05 and 0.25 MPa, and the operating temperature between 60 and 90 °C.
7.Cleaning procedures
Open the discharge valve, rinse the inner wall of the tank with water, and rinse the residue.
Close the valve, check the cleaning effect, and complete the cleaning work in the tank.
Wipe the surface of the equipment with a cloth (do not rinse the instrument part with water).
VIII. Maintenance and care
After each use, clean the inside of the tank and wipe the outer surface of the equipment.
When the equipment is not in use, keep the inside dry, open the manhole or hand hole to keep the sealing ring in a free state.
Check the sealing ring and other wearing parts regularly, and replace them in time if there is a leak.
8.Safety precautions for equipment
Operators should be familiar with the equipment structure and operating procedures, and take up their posts after training and passing the assessment.
During the use of the equipment, when the tank is discharged with air pressure or vacuum, the introduction of refrigerant or heat medium into the jacket should be slow to prevent overpressure operation.
During the pressure increase and decrease process, attention should be paid to the monitoring of the pressure gauge or vacuum gauge.
